Ex-Browns head coach Romeo Crennel isn’t going to head further inland during 2009.
There had been a bit of speculation that RAC might join his old Patriots amigo Charlie Weis in South Bend as defensive line coach for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Doesn’t look like that is going to happen as some disreputable dump with shady writers calling itself “College Football Talk” relays word from a Notre Dame site named after colors that Romeo Crennel couldn’t commit to, well, anything, right now.
Browns executives still have a very high opinion of Crennel as a coach and a person, and continue to keep the door open a crack for RAC to remain involved in the organization in some unspecified capacity.
Crennel received a contract extension prior to the 2008 and doesn’t have to migrate anywhere to get a salary this year.
That’s all well and good, but I wouldn’t trust any information coming from a site that named itself after various shades of the spectrum. Electromagnetic radiation is not sports-related even in the wavelengths visible to the naked eye. I had to study too much of that crap in college and don’t need people yammering colors at me. Jerks.

Thank you Newton and Maxwell for enabling this ironic post. Barry - just think what you would have written if you didn’t any that engineering degree -
“See RAC. See Notre Dame. Look at the pretty blue and gold. RAC does not like blue and gold today. See RAC not move.”
